The Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China presented the "Chinese Nobel Prize" in Beijing to an Uzbek scientist, biochemist, academician Shavkat Salikhov.

President of China Xi Jinping, Premier Li Keqiang, members of the Politburo, as well as Vice Premiers took part in the solemn ceremony of awarding the PRC state awards in the field of science and technology and the prestigious International Cooperation in Science and Technology-2017 Prize.
