In Tashkent, the international forum "Innovations in the social sphere - an important factor in the development of society"
 
September 11th  this year, the Hyatt Regency Tashkent hosted an international forum "Innovations in the social sphere - an important factor in the development of society." The forum was organized by the Center for Development Strategy jointly with the Ministry of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the representative office of the Foundation. The purpose of the forum was to discuss the issues of accelerated innovative development of all sectors of the economy and social sphere, as well as the development of recommendations based on advanced foreign experience, modern achievements of world science, innovative ideas, developments and technologies. Leading foreign experts took part in the forum along with representatives of relevant ministries and departments, NGOs and public organizations of our country. They exchanged views on the introduction of innovations in the health care system, education and other spheres, as well as problems and shortcomings in these areas.
The Minister of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Ibrohim Abdurakhmonov, emphasized that active implementation of innovations in social and economic development, including education and healthcare, is carried out at various levels in our republic. He also talked about the draft laws being prepared, which are aimed at the development of innovations in the republic.
