On May 16th of 2019, The 4th Republican scientific conference on "Modern Problems of Genetics, Genomics, and Biotechnology" was organized by the Center of Genomics and Bioinformatics under Academic of Science of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The conference was attended by with over 100 delegates, from scientific research Institutes of the Academic of Science, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education, and including from the diverse educational institutions of the Republic.
The event was opened by the First deputy minister of Innovation Development Ministry in Uzbekistan, Sharof Rakhimberdievich Rajabbaev, who emphasized the importance and its special role in the development progress of science and in the integration of education, having interaction with country scientists. This is designed to ensure that there is a demand for the research being undertaken and that the results will lead to products and processes. It also creates bridges between the public research sector and industrial enterprises. In results, the government of Uzbekistan focuses on financial supporting for the scientifical research progress and the government also intends to grow up the commercialization ability the results of scientific researches were noted by him.
As a scientific conference, "MPGG&B" proved interesting and rewarding with lively exchanges of new information and research findings because it encompassed the challenge of genomics and genetically various agricultural crops, medical genomics and genetics, microbiology and veterinary medicine. Moreover at the conference was discussed inquiry of applied and industrial biotechnology. Also, the subjects to discuss were several achievements and modern issues of genomics, bioinformatics and plants biotechnology and microorganisms, the prospects of design and to introduce a novel innovative biotechnology that aimed to increase agricultural productivity and ensuring food security for sustainable human development.
It is also especially noticeable that at the conference participated with his speech Dr. Max Teplitski, who is a National Program Leader in Food Safety and Microbiology at the USDA National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA).
Particularly remarkable that at the conference were in attended active participations from the diverse institutions of higher education. Participants included junior scientists and researchers.
