For the first time in the history of national science a patent on scientific development have been received by Researchers of the Center for Genomics and Bioinformatics of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan in the US.
The patent on RNA- interference technology of cotton was issued on May 30, 2017 by US Patent and Trademark Office.
According to the patent terms this technology will be supported in addition 20 countries, besides the USA.
Issuance of a patent for high-tech development to Uzbek scientists by US is an unprecedented event and an unquestionable recognition of the achievements of our scientists in high- technology field.
