In October 25, the science seminar was held in the Center of Genomics and Bioinformatics of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan with Professor Alexander Van der Krol participation.
Professor Alexander Van der Krol (the Laboratory of Plant Physiology, Wageningen University, the Netherlands) gave two lectures on: "Development of intron derived miRNAs to manipulate genes in plants" and "The role of phytochromes in the control of cell elongation".
