Ibrohim Abdurakhmonov, former vice-president of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan, has become the minister of the newly created Minitry of Innovative Development was headed by. Abdurakhmonov is a graduate of Texas Agricultural and Mechanical University, where he studied on a Presidential Fund's Umid (transl. Hope) scholarship program.
