Uzbekistan will switch to "SMART AGRICULTURE"
"SMART AGRICULTURE" in Uzbekistan is indicated as one of the main tasks of the Ministry of Innovative Development. It is reported, that the Ministry of Innovation will introduce the modern approved forms of agricultural production based, first of all, on the concept of "smart agriculture", which allows rational use of available land, water and other natural resources. It is planned to achieve this by introducing of innovative ideas and technologies in the agricultural sector, which will allow maximum automation of agricultural activities, significantly increase the yield of priority crops and improve the financial performance of enterprises. Ensuring food security of the country is indicated as one of the ultimate goals.
