On November 12, 2025, representatives of the delegation of scientists of the Republic of Bashkortostan — Garafutdinov Ravil Rinatovich and Elvira Rimovna Ismagilova-visited the Center for Genomics and bioinformatics.
The guests were welcomed by the director of the center Buriev Zabardast Tojibojević and told them in detail about the history of the institution, the activities of laboratories and the achieved scientific results.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects for scientific cooperation. At the end of the visit, guests made an offer to establish an internship at the Center for Genomics and bioinformatics for Bashkortostan scientists.

On October 29, this year, a meeting was held with the cooperation of the Chamber of Commerce and industry of Uzbekistan and the National Research University of the Tashkent Institute of irrigation and agricultural mechanization engineers on the implementation of scientific developments in the field of Agriculture.
The meeting was attended by scientists and entrepreneurs working in the fields of Agriculture, Agriculture, cotton, horticulture, livestock and poultry. Scientists presented their scientific developments and products at the exhibition.

Holiday event on the occasion of the 34th anniversary of independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan
🇺 🇿 “For the fatherland, for the nation, for the people!", a celebration of Independence was held at the Center for Genomics and bioinformatics. It was attended by the leadership of the Center, scientists, young researchers and employees.

✅ The event was opened by the director of the Center Zabardast Buriev and warmly congratulated all participants on the 34th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan. He also wished tremendous success in scientific research, genetic research and new achievements in bioinformatic analysis.
A foreign Acorn variety is being tested in the Reserve
🌱 Minister of Agriculture Ibrahim Abdurahmonov and director of the Center for Genomics and bioinformatics Zabardast Buriev visited the Holikov Murodbek farm field in Kasbi district during their visit to the Kashkadarya region.
Here, the gooseberry variety “Nach-109”, brought from India, is being planted and cared for experimentally. The advantages of this variety – resistance to earthworms and viruses, adaptation to drought and Saltmarsh were highlighted.
✔️ During the visit, officials noted that this variety also has planting opportunities in other regions of the country. An average yield of 60 centners per hectare is expected from the experiment being conducted.
🗣 Abraham Abdurahmanov and Zabardast Buriev noted that experimental testing of new promising varieties is important in expanding productive and resistant varieties in cotton.
