During the seminar, the technology of growing grapes was presented and the expansion of the export potential of this crop was also considered.
The aim of the study was a local vine (Vitus Vinifera L.), in vitro propagation of varieties and cultivation of genetically identical "healthy" seedlings with a molecularly confirmed absence of viral diseases.
Viticulture is one of the constantly developing profitable branches of agriculture. To date, there are more than 140 thousand hectares of vineyards in Uzbekistan, the main vineyards are located in Kashkadarya, Surkhandarya, Samarkand and Bukhara regions, where grapes are grown for further processing.
