On April 18th, 2018 year marked the 6th anniversary of the Center for Genomics and Bioinformatics in Uzbekistan. On this occasion in the Center a solemn meeting of the Academic Council was held, in which all the employees of the Center took part. The event started with the greeting of the first deputy director of the Center, Doctor of Biological Sciences Zabardast Buriev, which spoke about the background of the Center's formation, the role of Academician A.Abdukarimov, his pupil Academician Abdurahmonov.  I.Yu. and our government in the development of genomics in Uzbekistan and the creation of such a modern Center. Attention to the development of science in the republic, provided by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev. We should justify this trust and make our contribution to the development of the economy of the Republic of Uzbekistan through our work and scientific achievements, "said Zabardast Buriev. Also at the meeting were the employees of the Center, academician Abdusattor Abdukarimov, doctor of biological sciences Azoda Adylova and others. At the end of the event, for the high performance in the work, individual employees were presented with gifts and certificates of honor.
