The president Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the Nuclear Physics Institute of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Mirziyoyev familiarized himself with the relevant projects, noted the need to build educational buildings and laboratories in accordance with international standards, equipping them with the latest technologies.

The Institute of Nuclear Physics is located in the village of Ulugbek. The head of state commissioned to develop a master plan for the village.

"The settlement should become a scientific town." In the near future we will transfer other scientific and research institutions here, create all conditions for scientists and the development of science, "said Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

The President noted the need to expand the territory of the village, build buildings for institutions, new housing, schools and recreation places, improve the transport connection between the village and the center of the capital, the construction of a station of the aboveground metro.
