A grant of $ 100 million will be allocated to support scientific developments.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev spoke at the Institute of Nuclear Physics with representatives of the Academy of Sciences and scientific research institutes, academicians, scientists, young researchers.

This was reported by the Press Service of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

It was noted that in our country much attention is paid to the development of science, 11 decrees and presidential decrees have been passed over the sphere over the past year.

At the same time, the low level of integration of science and production, and insufficient support for scientific research, have been criticized.

"It is necessary that each study be considered as a product, the buyer of which is known in advance," said Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

The head of state said that a grant of $ 100 million will be allocated to support the introduction of scientific developments, the wages of workers in research institutes will be increased several times.

Yesterday the President signed the Decree "On Measures for the Development of Nuclear Energy in the Republic of Uzbekistan." In accordance with it, the Agency for the Development of Nuclear Energy was organized under the Cabinet of Ministers.

At the meeting, an exchange of views took place on the issues of the execution of tasks, training of personnel, creation and introduction of scientific developments.
