On August 28th, 2018 year, the Council of Young Scientists of the Center for Genomics and Bioinformatics held a meeting of young reasercher dedicated to the Day of Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The meeting was attended by Academician A. Abdukarimov, Doctor of Biology A. Adylova, First Deputy Director, Doctor of Biological Sciences Z. Buriev and others. A. Abdukarimov and Z. Buriev spoke about the importance of independence for science, for young reasercher and for the republic as a whole. It was also noted that young reasercher are the most active part of society and therefore it is necessary to invest in it new knowledge, create conditions for them and involve them in scientific research. In addition, O.Turaev spoke at the meeting, who spoke about new decisions and decisions of the state aimed at developing science, improving the working conditions of scientists and supporting the younger generation. Also with congratulatory words were made by Ph.D. Sh. Shermatov, M. Ayubov, M. Darmanov. Chairman of the SMU Center H. Abdiraimova noted that young people should support each other, more experienced staff should help those who are just starting to engage in research and actively participate in conferences.
