In accordance with the resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on 20.07.2018 "On measures to further increase the remuneration of workers in the sphere of science and higher education, as well as state support for the introduction of scientific and technical results," September 1 of , 2018 year, salaries of university and university researchers. The increase in basic salaries will be differentiated, where priority is given to employees with academic degrees and titles. On average, the growth of basic salaries will amount to 25 percent (from 5 percent for trainees to 38 percent for university professors and chief scientific officers of the research institute). Differentiation provides for increasing the base salaries depending on the position held, the presence of a scientific degree and academic title. At the same time, it is envisaged that the difference between the sizes of the basic salaries of the trainee and the professor (or the chief research officer) will be increased by 100%, up to two times.
