First organism found that can produce chlorophyll without photosynthesis
A peculiar organism, scientists have so far called corallicolide (corallicolid). It lives inside corals, produces chlorophyll, but it does not photosynthesize. Why he needs this pigment is still unclear. Meeting of the Scientific Council!
On November 30, 2018, a regular meeting of the Scientific Council was held at the Center of Genomics and bioinformatics. At this meeting, the criteria for evaluating the activities of Scientists of the Center were reviewed as well, the dissertation titles were confirmed of the candidates that successfully passed from exams for Ph.D. studies.
